At Center Point Rentals, nothing is more important than ensuring our guests feel comfortable, safe, and satisfied during their stay at the Day’s Away River House. As such, we have implemented several house rules that we kindly ask all guests to follow to help us maintain a high standard of service and safety.

On the Number of Allowed Guests

The Day’s Away River House can only accommodate up to 12 people to ensure that all the facilities and amenities in the house are sufficient for the number of guests and that everyone gets to enjoy their stay comfortably. Please stay within the maximum number of guests allowed in the house with prior approval from the management.

On the Minimum Length of Stay

The Day’s Away River House offers a range of indoor and outdoor facilities to guarantee a pleasant stay. Each reservation must include a minimum stay of 2 nights. The guest house and the surrounding area in Center Point and neighboring cities are best experienced over this course.

On Our Check-In and Check-Out Times Slots

Guests can check in after 4:00 pm on their first Night and check out before 11:00 am on their last day. While our maintenance and housekeeping people will clean the guest house before and after your stay, we kindly ask that you leave the property clean and tidy. Furthermore, please double-check all your valuables and personal belongings before leaving the property to ensure nothing is left behind.

What You Cannot Do During Your Stay

No Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Day’s Away River House premises, including on the private patio. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of your cigarette butts properly.

No Parties or Events

If you plan on hosting an event, let us know in advance so we can help you choose the perfect location and amenities for your gathering. We only permit parties or events to be held on the property with prior notice.

No Pets Allowed

We understand that pets are essential to many families, but unfortunately, we do not allow pets on the property. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. You can always pet and play with our horses, Spirit and Scar, and our chickens, who are already part of the Day’s Away River House family.

Absolutely! We have a designated parking area on the property where you can safely park your van or any other vehicle during your stay. Rest assured, your vehicle’s safety is our priority.

Yes, the Day’s Away River House is equipped with smoke and alarms to ensure your safety during your stay.

Yes. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and plans may need to be changed. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss options for canceling or rescheduling your booking.

Yes, our ducks are friendly and love attention! However, check with us first, and please do not feed them foods that can harm them. Additionally, we ask that you treat our animals with respect and refrain from chasing or harassing them.
