Our charming house has everything you need to provide a marvelous vacation you’ll never forget! The main house has three bedrooms and one bath with double vanity (sleeps 8). The primary bedroom has a king-size bed. The guest room has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a double bed plus a set of bunk beds.
We also have an optional detached cabin with a bath (sleeps 4). We only rent a different place as an add-on to the main house. Our detached cottage is next to the main house. It features a queen bed and a queen mattress in the loft—kitchenette with coffee pot, Microwave, and small Refrigerator.
TV with DIRECTV, DVD, & VCR available.

Our dedicated team at Day’s Away River House is always ready to assist you with your booking process, answer any queries about our rates, amenities, or policies, and ensure your reservation is seamless.
During your booking process, kindly provide us with complete and accurate details, such as the number of guests and any specific requests or requirements you might have. This allows us to tailor your stay to your comfort and expectations.
We strongly encourage you to book well in advance, particularly during peak seasons or special events, to ensure your desired dates are available. However, we also cater to last-minute bookings, provided that Day’s Away River House has availability.
Following your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email containing all necessary stay details. Reviewing and saving this email will include your check-in and check-out dates, directions to our property, and any other relevant information you might need before your arrival.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
Our Day’s Away River House team understands that not all plans go as intended, and sometimes guests need to cancel or modify their reservation. We offer flexible cancellation and refund policies to accommodate our guests’ needs.
Cancellation is free for 60 days before your scheduled check-in. If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us ASAP. Unfortunately, you can only get a fraction of your initial payment as a refund.
Minimum Duration of Stay
All bookings require a 2-night minimum stay at Day’s Away River House. It means that our guests must book and pay for at least two nights’ accommodation when making a reservation. The minimum duration stay is in place to ensure our guests have ample time to fully enjoy their stay at our cozy guest house and explore the beauty of Center Point, Texas.
